From 16th - 18th April, the world leading trade fair, Inter Brush 2008, will be the international meeting point for the brush, paintbrush, paint roller and mop industry for the tenth time. The organiser, Freiburg Wirtschaft Touristik und Messe GmbH & Co. KG (FWTM), is expecting around 7,000 trade visitors from 90 countries. A total of 170 exhibitors will be presenting products from across the entire industry in a space of 21,500 square metres: from production machinery and raw materials made of hair, plastic or plant fibres, through to semifinished goods. Inter Brush is held every four years at the Freiburg Exhibition and Conference Centre.
Durable and longlasting: only two of the many quality requirements that brushes and paintbrushes have to achieve, to guarantee daily use in the home and in industry. Alongside the traditional brushmaker’s art, there is a varied industry made up of manufacturers of production machinery, providers of raw materials, and manufacturers of semifinished goods such as special wires, brush bodies or brush and broom handles.
At the world leading trade fair, Inter Brush 2008, exhibitors from the entire spectrum of the brush, paintbrush, paint roller and mop industry will meet. 170 exhibitors from 28 countries represent all areas of the industry. As such, Inter Brush is the industry’s most important trade fair worldwide: technical exhibits include modern production machinery, which manufactures brushes, brooms, paintbrushes, technical brushes and paint rollers, as well as the raw materials. During processing, bristles and fibres are shaped in special finishing machines. This year, for the first time, packaging, cutting, injection moulding and labelling machinery will also be on display. The exhibition space covers a total area of 21,500 square metres. With the new Hall 4 and the central foyer, this is 8,000 square metres more exhibition space than in 2004. As such, around 20% more exhibitors will be participating than at Inter Brush 2004 in Freiburg.
“The dynamic growth of Intersolar meant that for reasons of space, the fair had to move to Munich. We are delighted that, with Inter Brush, we have the most important trade fair for a longstanding industry in Freiburg,” explains Klaus W. Seilnacht, Managing Director of Freiburg Wirtschaft Touristik und Messe GmbH & Co. KG (FWTM). A total of 7,000 trade visitors from 90 countries are expected. “With its international range of visitors, Inter Brush is once again demonstrating that it is a world leading trade fair,” underlines Daniel Strowitzki, Head of Trade Fairs at FWTM. The Freiburg region also profits from Inter Brush 2008: “We are expecting above average hotel bookings, since we know that the majority of our trade visitors spends several days in the region,” says Daniel Strowitzki.
Inter Brush 2008 is organised by Freiburg Wirtschaft Touristik und Messe (FWTM).
